Jim Mizes

President and Chief Executive Officer

Jim Mizes oversees the executive team in all aspects of operations, management, sales and development. He oversees all Club One and Frog’s Fitness sites and managed sites for the company. Prior to Club One, Mr. Mizes served as president of Noah’s Bagels, where he was instrumental in growing the company from 10 to 100 locations, as well as serving in senior management and operational positions at Jamba Juice, where he was instrumental in growing the company from 50 to 350 sites. He also held executive positions at Taco Bell, Greyhound and Hunt-Wesson. Mr. Mizes holds a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and a master's in business administration from UCLA.

Bill McBride

Chief Operating Officer

Bill McBride manages all aspects of commercial club operations for Club One and Frog's Fitness. His charter is to consistently improve operational standards and the quality of Club One and Frog’s Fitness’ sites and delivery systems. He has an extensive background in the industry, including serving as senior vice president, sales and business development at Sport & Health. Mr. McBride holds a bachelor's in Business Administration from East Carolina University. He is a regular presenter at industry conventions including, IHRSA and Club Industry, and is a contributing faculty member to Club Success magazine.

Carey White

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Technology Officer

Carey White joined Club One in 2004. He is a four-time CFO for rapidly-evolving companies in diverse industries.  His role as CFO and CTO of Club One includes responsibility for new product development, infrastructure technology, finance and accounting, and member services.  With Larry Tobin, he co-invented the Habit Changer® and WellPower®.  He holds a bachelor's from Stanford and a master's in business administration from Harvard.

Robin Klaus

Chairman

Robin Klaus drives the Board of Director in terms of strategy, finance and shareholder communications. His experience encompasses executive management positions including president and chief operating officer of fitness manufacturer Star Trac, current chairman of Planet Fitness, a health and fitness club company with operations in Singapore, and former chairman of American Sports Institute, a non-profit educational organization based in Marin County. Mr. Klaus currently serves on the board of directors of Napa Sonoma Summer Search. Mr. Klaus holds a bachelor's in international relations from American University, a master's in international economics from University of Pittsburgh and a master's in business administration from Stanford.

Robyn VanDerLuit

VP, Worksite Health and Fitness

Robyn VanDerLuit joined Club One in 1994 when the company had one corporate management contract. During the past 12 years with the organization, Ms. VanDerLuit has built a high performance management team and operational infrastructure to support and manage more than 70 corporate management contracts for the Worksite Health & Fitness division. She has extensive experience building, developing and inspiring diverse employee groups to work at their maximum levels. Her previous experience includes working for Reebok, the 49er Charity Organization and Club Corporation of America. Ms. VanDerLuit received a bachelor's from San Jose State University in business management/recreation.


Thomas Nelson

VP, Community Centers

 Tom Nelson brings more than 12 years of management experience working with client partners in the areas of commercial, corporate, municipal, university and community center health and fitness facilities and wellness programs. In his current role, Mr. Nelson oversees the fitness operations, sales and account management for Club One’s community center service contracts. He joined Club One in 1999 as a multi-state regional manager for the Worksite Health & Fitness division. Mr. Nelson holds his bachelor's and master's degrees in kinesiology from San Jose State University, and he is actively involved as a board officer for a non-profit organization providing fitness and wellness programs to under-served and at-risk populations in the Bay Area.
